Business/A2P Messaging Schedule

Effective June 1, 2026

This Business/A2P Messaging Schedule ("Business Schedule") applies to messaging sent by or for a business, organization, profession, campaign, nonprofit, public body, or other non-consumer sender. It supplements the Terms of Service and Messaging Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Approval before sending

Business messaging may begin only after MultiTEL approves the Customer, sender, Brand, Campaign, use case, number type, origination method, and expected traffic. MultiTEL may require legal name, assumed names, tax identifiers, formation records, beneficial owners, authorized representatives, website and privacy-policy URLs, support contacts, sample messages, opt-in evidence, volume forecasts, and other KYC or use-case information.

Approval is limited to the information submitted. A material change in Brand, beneficiary, message purpose, content category, call to action, consent flow, list source, sending application, number, country, volume, or downstream party requires prior review and may require a new or amended registration.

2. Brand, Campaign, and sender registration

You must complete all sender, Brand, Campaign, toll-free verification, short-code, alphanumeric sender, or other registration required by MultiTEL, a carrier, registry, or law. Registration information must identify the actual entity the recipient understands to be sending the message and the actual use case. You may not use another party's Brand, tax identifier, Campaign, number, or approval unless MultiTEL expressly authorizes that relationship.

Registration submission does not guarantee approval, throughput, deliverability, or continued service. Registry and carrier review times, decisions, limits, suspensions, and fees are outside MultiTEL's sole control.

3. Consent and enrollment

You must obtain legally sufficient consent before messaging and retain evidence showing who consented, when, how, to which sender, for what purpose, and the disclosures presented. Enrollment language must be clear and conspicuous and must not conceal material terms. Purchased, rented, scraped, appended, shared, or third-party lists may not be used unless each recipient's consent lawfully and specifically authorizes messages from the registered sender and the use is approved by MultiTEL.

Where law or industry rules require enhanced or written consent, you must obtain it before sending. You are responsible for maintaining internal do-not-contact and suppression controls across all applications, agents, departments, and vendors acting for the Brand.

4. Message requirements

Messages must match the approved use case and samples, identify the sender where it may not be obvious, provide required disclosures, and use only approved numbers and links. Recurring programs must provide required frequency, help, opt-out, and message/data-rate disclosures. Marketing must not be disguised as a personal conversation, service alert, or transaction.

Honor STOP and all other reasonable revocation requests promptly and within applicable deadlines. HELP responses must provide accurate Brand and support information. Do not send further campaign messages after opt-out unless the recipient provides new valid consent.

5. Portal and API access

MultiTEL may enable approved Business messaging through its portal, API, or another specifically authorized interface. API access is not automatic and may be limited by use case, role, IP address, credential, number, throughput, or other control. You must secure credentials, use least-privilege access, maintain logs, prevent unauthorized users and applications, and promptly report compromise.

You may use approved contractors to operate your messaging only if they act solely for your registered Brand, are bound to equivalent compliance and security duties, and do not introduce unrelated senders or downstream customers. You remain responsible for their conduct.

6. Prohibited conduct

In addition to the Messaging Acceptable Use Policy, you may not:

  • send before required Brand, Campaign, sender, or use-case approval;
  • send content or use traffic patterns materially inconsistent with an approval;
  • share a Campaign or sender among unrelated Brands;
  • use Personal accounts, consumer routes, unregistered numbers, or another Customer's account to avoid A2P controls;
  • rotate accounts, numbers, domains, URLs, or content to evade filtering or complaints;
  • send to recipients whose consent cannot be substantiated;
  • continue sending after an opt-out, complaint, suspension, or registration revocation; or
  • resell or provide messaging to downstream customers under a Business profile.

7. Records, audits, and complaints

Retain registration submissions, approvals, consent evidence, enrollment disclosures, list sources, message templates, delivery records, opt-outs, complaints, and suppression records for the period required by law and at least four years. Provide requested records promptly. MultiTEL may audit compliance directly or through a carrier or registry and may require corrective action.

You must investigate complaints, stop affected traffic where appropriate, preserve relevant evidence, and cooperate with MultiTEL. Report suspected fraud, compromise, or unauthorized sending immediately.

8. Monitoring and enforcement

As permitted by law, MultiTEL may review metadata, content indicators, representative content, URLs, delivery data, complaints, opt-outs, registration data, and traffic patterns. MultiTEL may filter, throttle, block, suspend, reclassify, or terminate messaging immediately; require new verification or registration; revoke API access; and preserve approval and enforcement records.

9. Charges and responsibility

You are responsible for message, carrier, registration, vetting, campaign, number, investigation, remediation, and penalty charges attributable to your traffic. Upstream charges may apply to submitted, filtered, rejected, or delivered messages. You remain responsible for compliance even when MultiTEL or a third party assists with registration or technical implementation.
